Built by people who have spent a decade getting teenagers into the rooms they wanted to be in.
Why we built A World Academy
I am the founder of UniHawk and ALearningLab. Over the past decade, our virtual internships, medical observerships and boot camps have helped thousands of students from over forty countries find the version of themselves they wanted to grow into.
A World Academy is the in-person, residential extension of that work. We run summer and winter academies on the campuses of world-leading universities — King's, Imperial, LSE, UCL and UAL in London, and internationally at NUS Singapore, Bocconi in Milan and IE University in Spain — for teenagers who are already curious and want a serious place to test what they're capable of.
Three principles
- The faculty are working practitioners — professors, founders and operators who still do the work they teach.
- Every student finishes with something — a paper, a product, a pitch — that proves what they did.
- The cohort matters as much as the curriculum. We build small, ambitious, diverse rooms.
UGlobalAcademy
Our residential academies have a year-round companion: UGlobalAcademy, a full-time virtual school that combines rigorous academics with mentorship, real-world experience and university preparation — for curious students anywhere in the world.
Students study toward IGCSE, A Levels or an American High School Diploma alongside virtual internships, leadership bootcamps, cultural-immersion trips and one-to-one university admissions counselling.
